A web dashboard that turns an intercity vehicle owner into a fleet operator: register and manage vehicles, hire and assign drivers, schedule and monitor trips, request new routes, track earnings, and handle compliance, all from one bilingual control panel. Built with the same React Router v7 and Redux Toolkit/RTK Query architecture as the Admin dashboard, it runs on a single-tenant model: an owner sees and manages only their own fleet, drivers, and trips.

Business Need

• Fleet owners need day-to-day operational control without needing an admin to run their business for them, while staying fenced out of platform-wide levers like route approval or the exchange rate.
• Assigning drivers to vehicles is a real, changing relationship, not a one-time setting. The dashboard manages that lifecycle (offered, accepted, ended, cancelled) explicitly instead of treating it as a static field.
• Recurring trip scheduling is tedious to do by hand. The dashboard supports repeating trips instead of forcing an owner to recreate the same schedule every day.
• Expanding into a new route shouldn't require a backend request. A self-service route-request flow lets an owner propose a route through the UI for platform review.
• Owners need visibility into what's happening right now, not just after the fact. Live, map-based trip tracking replaces querying a completed-trips table after the fact.

Project Overview

• Within the Khuta platform, owners are the businesses or individuals who own the vehicles running intercity routes. This dashboard is their day-to-day operating console.
• Owners build out their fleet, decide which drivers drive which vehicle, put trips on the schedule (including recurring ones), and watch those trips happen live on a map.
• The permission model is single-tenant, not role-based: an owner manages only their own fleet, drivers, and trips, with anything network-wide flowing up to the Admin dashboard for sign-off.
• Driver-to-vehicle assignment is modeled as a real lifecycle (offered, accepted, ended, or cancelled) rather than a static field, matching how those relationships actually rotate over time.
